The Walnut Creek Crawdads are a summer collegiate baseball team founded in 2010 who compete in the Bay Area Collegiate League. The team is focused on providing an opportunity for the team to play against high-level competition and to improve their skills as they continue their quest to become professional baseball players. The team consists of current student-athletes competing at the division 1, 2, and junior colleges from around the country.
More Than A Game, the parent organization of the Crawdads, is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Coaches & Staff
General Manager/Head Coach
Jordan Bautista is in his fourth year as manager of the Crawdads.
A graduate of Encinal High School ('00), Bautista played infield at Laney College then transferred on to play at San Francisco State University. At SFSU, he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Human Movement. In 2007, he received his Master's of Arts degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from St. Mary's College of California.
Coach Bautista has been coaching baseball at elite levels for over a decade. In his first year as head coach of the Crawdads, he led the team to a CCL North Division Championship. He has spent many years as an assistant at the junior college level. His passion and dedication to the game has helped several players move on to higher levels.

Director of Baseball Operations
Ian Tongol will be entering his second season as Director of Baseball Ops for the Crawdads.
He was as All-American wrestler for the De La Salle Spartans. After earning his degree in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California, he ran his own marketing business while also being the athletic director for Queen of All Saints School.
He brings to the team over 15 years of coaching experience and decade of business management knowledge in the sporting arena. Ian is highly driven to bringing home the CCL Championship in 2017!
